Article Exchange
As I have already mentioned, links found within editorial content earn you more 'ranking points' with the search engines than links found on a links page. This is because they are seen a more confident and more natural vote for your site and that's why I prefer to exchange articles. Or if you prefer to use what you have written on your site we can write for our own sites and link to each other. NB This content must be unique, no duplicate content please as this will get us penalties from the SE's.
The benefits will vary depending on: (In no particular order)
1.) The ranking of the site that links to you - The higher in the SERPS the better, not only PR
2.) The position of the page on the website. - This must be accessible from the homepage
3.) The position of the link/s to your site on that page - Links should be near the top of the page as those are seen as more important. They should also be in the middle and at the end for maximum exposure. I would therefore start an article something like: 'This article on poker was supplied by poker-casinoguide.com' and end it with: 'Thank you to poker-casinoguide.com for this article.' Obviously I'd still indlude another link or 2 in the body surrounded by the more competitve keywords like 'poker' or 'casino'.
If you can get links on a page on a good website as described above then you will need fewer links to improve your SE ranking. And, you will also get some juicy content for your site.
So what next?
Please contact me first to let me know your intentions so that I can also start to do the same. I would hate to keep you waiting a few days while I 'catch-up' to you.
You write an article and include the links to your site. These do not necessarily have to go to your homepage, they can point to any page that is relevant to the topic which you are writing about.
We then add the new pages to our sites earning more ranking points and adding good content, both of which the SE's are after.
Contact me to exchange articles or go back to submit your link for reveiw. (Do both if you like)
